Bulova made history in space on 2 August 1971: during the Apollo 15 mission, a lunar pilot chronograph, customised for lunar conditions by Bulova engineers, was worn on the moon.
Now Bulova makes history again with the special edition Lunar Pilot Chronograph, updated with our exclusive high-performance quartz movement with a frequency of 262 kHz for unrivalled accuracy, continuing a history of precision timekeeping.
Features include super luminous hands and markers, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, tachymeter and calendar, all housed in a solid 316L surgical-grade sandblasted silver-tone 316L stainless steel case with black dial.
Two interchangeable straps are included: one in textured black leather; the other, a black nylon with a nubuck leather patch commemorating the mission date (DOM) as 08021971.
Gift box presentation includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
